The Department of Labour and Employment Services wishes to inform all registered agents and interested participant workers of the Labour Mobility Programs (PALM and RSE) that a general medical health check is compulsory and must be undertaken at one of the four registered panel doctors that are approved to conduct medicals for the Labour Mobility- Any recruiting agent and/ or Government staff who are supporting the mobilization of workers must ensure that all ‘their’ workers complete a general medical check up before they are mobilized.
- The general medical health check is important to ensure workers are healthy under the Labour Mobility Programs. A general medical health check is a required document to be able to participate in the Labour Mobility Programs.
- The Government of Vanuatu through the Department of Labour and Employment Services is determined to send fit and healthy workers to ensure maximum participation in the program and receive the maximum benefits of the program.
