It provides some information on the process for supporting any in-country visits by RSEs and Approved Employers, and what the Vanuatu Government requirements are for these visits.\u00a0 To undertake a \u2018work-related\u2019 trip to Vanuatu, all persons representing an Approved Employer must apply for the following Government visas and permits \u2013 as a mandatory requirement for entry into Vanuatu:<\/p>\n<p>Those employers who use agents can arrange this through\u00a0 them.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>STEP 1 (complete this step first):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work permit exemption (Department of Labour)\n<ul>\n<li>Completion of a request letter by Management of AE business (see attached example) and have it signed by CEO\/Owner or by whoever is most relevant.<\/li>\n<li>Please fill out \u2018work permit exemption\u2019 (sample attached).<\/li>\n<li>Payment to Vanuatu Government Cashier of 30,000vt (application fee and tax).\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to get your receipt! \ud83d\ude0a<\/li>\n<li>Include all supporting documentation as per Work Exemption Checklist highlighted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em><u>Once Work Permit is granted\/issued \u2013 proceed to step 2.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 2 (final step):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business visa (Department of Immigration):\n<ul>\n<li>A completed business visa form (attached),\u00a0<strong>with passport photo<\/strong>\u00a0included (a printed headshot \u2018selfie\u2019 on a white background is accepted for this process.\u00a0 Email selfie photo to Top Shots to print in passport size)<\/li>\n<li>Payment to Vanuatu Government Cashier of 35,000vt for multiple entry or 20,000 single entry.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to get your receipt! \ud83d\ude0a<\/li>\n<li>A support letter must be provided by the Commissioner of Labour to submit as part of completed paperwork to Department of Immigration.\u00a0 Please send a request for a CoL support letter to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:gvuti@vanuatu.gov.vu\">gvuti@vanuatu.gov.vu<\/a>\u00a0to co-ordinate on your behalf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lodgement:\n<ul>\n<li>Payments must be made to the Vanuatu Government Cashier and receipts provided with completed forms at time of submission.\u00a0 Documentation will not be issued without receipts provided.<\/li>\n<li>Allow a minimum of 3 weeks processing, from time of lodgement.<\/li>\n<li>Hard copies must be available to provide to Vanuatu Immigration upon arrival into Vanuatu by AEs\/Representatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Please note that there are heavy Government penalties imposed for any \u2018work-related\u2019 visits by AEs while on a Tourist Visa in Vanuatu<\/u><\/strong>.\u00a0 Please encourage your AEs to follow the correct processes when visiting Vanuatu for Labour Mobility purposes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-child container-sidebar-right\">\n<div class=\"sidebar-right card \"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Release from Vanuatu ESU The following is the latest information for employers who wish to enter Vanautu for the purpose of recruiting workers.
