{"id":222,"date":"2023-09-22T10:27:59","date_gmt":"2023-09-21T23:27:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vanuatulabourmobility.org\/vlm\/?p=222"},"modified":"2023-09-22T10:27:59","modified_gmt":"2023-09-21T23:27:59","slug":"rse-passport-application-process","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vanuatulabourmobility.org\/vlm\/2023\/09\/22\/rse-passport-application-process\/","title":{"rendered":"RSE Passport Application Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>With the current passport issues, the VAC has been very active in working closely with Vanuatu Immigration and the Passport Office to work through the issues regarding RSE workers and passports.\u00a0 In order to assist the Passport Office and also to reduce the stress point a the Immigration Office we have established a process to prioritise passports.\u00a0 Please note that there are also other priory sectors that are outside the RSE Scheme and so your patience and adoption of this process will help everyone.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>THE PROCESS!<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Agents<\/strong> fill in the spreadheet (emailed to each RSE agent).\u00a0 This list are all the RETURNEES ONLY who are requiring passports for the upcoming RSE assignments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Agents<\/strong> email the sheet to the VAC.<\/li>\n<li>The VAC collates them all and this becomes the <strong>master list<\/strong> for the Passport Office<\/li>\n<li>The VAC (Dan) will send you an LMAI watermarked letter to give to workers.\n<ol>\n<li>Please note that this letter is official and original.<\/li>\n<li>Scammers and fraudsters exist.<\/li>\n<li>The VAC and Passport Office is taking note of anyone who alters an original for other workers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workers<\/strong> lodge in the normal way OR agent lodges Wednesday.
